The Families Impacted by Incarceration Program (FIIP) works to support the bond between parents, care-givers, or other family members impacted by incarceration, and to help strengthen the parent/child relationship.
We offer:
- Parenting from Afar – an 8 week session held at the Frederick County Detention Center for incarcerated parents
- Parenting 201 – workshops held at various locations in the community for formerly incarcerated parents, caregivers or other family members impacted by incarceration
- Family Coaching – individualized, one-on-one coaching for formerly incarcerated parents, caregivers or other family members impacted by incarceration held at the Mental Health Association, the clients home or an agreed upon community location.

This service is not linked to any DSS or court related programs, and is FREE for Frederick County Residents.
