The Guide to Mental Health and Community Support Services is one of most comprehensive referral tools available that lists licensed mental health professionals, behavioral health facilities, group practices, extensive community support and emergency services, and a general services section in Spanish (Incluye Guía de Servicios Sociales Básicos).

Mental health professionals who are licensed at the highest level, including licensed social workers, counselors, psychologists and psychiatrists may become professional members of the Mental Health Association of Frederick County.
Professional Members receive the following benefits:
- Listing in The Guide to Mental Health and Community Support Services and a free print copy (2,500 print copies of the Guide distributed annually)
- Included in professional referrals given by the MHA Call Center to callers (over 46,000 calls annually)
- Professional listing posted to the online mental health referral center at fcmha.org
