We offer a number of programs that promote positive parenting and support parents with this difficult, yet rewarding, task. Parent Education
The Mental Health Association of Frederick County’s parent education programs are designed to encourage positive parenting, build family strengths, and teach about subject matter that families and youth face today.Family Support Services
A Family Resource Counselor, also called Systems Navigator, provides direct support, education and resources to parents and caregivers in order to address child and family needs and to build family strengths.Child Visitation and Transfer Services
The Supervised Visitation and Monitored Transfer Program provides a safe and neutral location for non-custodial parents to spend time with their children. Exchanges and visits are fully supervised by trained staff, and positive parent/child interaction is encouraged.
