- Capacity Building Specialist
- Child Care Choices is seeking Capacity Building Specialists (FT/PT). Duties include assisting child care providers who are seeking quality improvement through Maryland Credentialing, Program Accreditation, the Business Administration Scale (BAS), the Program Administration Scale (PAS) and Maryland EXCELS. Candidate must be able to complete environmental assessments in family child care programs and classrooms; motivate adults to change; coach and model strategies to enhance program quality; and work with community stakeholders to improve school readiness of children.
Candidate must possess exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to work within a team, initiative, and problem solving skills. BA in early childhood or related field and at least two years of experience working in an early childhood setting is required. Familiarity with Maryland State Licensing Regulations and quality rating improvement systems is a plus.
