The Mental Health Association of Frederick County is committed to helping to shape the policies which impact persons with mental illness and to ensuring that everyone has access to quality mental health services.  To that end, we encourage our professional members, service providers, consumers, and the general public to contact their legislators when legislation related to these specific issues is being considered.

We will post alerts on this site as these issues arise. Our state legislators tell us that they get very few calls or e-mails from their constituents on most issues, so when they are contacted, they listen.  We encourage you to be one of the voices they listen to!
