EmployersChild Care Choices understands that the quality and stability of today’s work force depends on the quality and reliability of the child care available to their children. The issue is a national one, but parents and employers right here in our community are feeling the effects every day of the work week. CommunityChild Care Choices distributes a quarterly newsletter on early childhood topics, offers training and continuing education opportunities for professionals, sponsors the annual Children’s Festival held at Baker Park, provides speakers on child development and child care related topics, and supplies multiple publications related to child care. |
Child Care Choices is a program of the Mental Health Association of Frederick County, a United Way Agency, and a member agency of the Maryland Child Care Resource Network with funding from the Maryland State Department of Education. Child Care Choices is also supported by the Frederick County Government, private contributions and user fees.
